Who We Are
Women Power For Development is a non-profit organization with a registered number OONGO/R/1236; dedicated to enabling Tanzania Women to realize and utilize their potential for Development by empowering them economically through improving their economic status, and power, and assisting them in training and different opportunities that reflect their activities.
Since our establishment in 2020, we have served over 1,000 women within the country, offering programs that promote women’s economic empowerment by developing innovative programs and campaigns that assist them; it includes the provision of vocational skills training, business development support, rights awareness education and recognizing their effort through providing achievement awards. We managed to reach out to women and girls, equipping them with the knowledge, skills, and resources to make well-versed decisions and pursue their aspirations.
Our organization has been led by competence and expertise in community services that is essential to nourish our organization's strategic direction, ensure stability, and provide valuable insights and guidance to our team and volunteers.
