On the 31st of August 2024, Women Power for Development Organisation went out to Ocean Road Cancer Institute and held its annual charity work. A total of 36 members from WPD contributed the amount of Tshs 1,368,000/= which was used to buy different kinds of supplies and necessities for those who are admitted at the ORCI.

On May 1, 2024, Women Power for Development marked International Workers' Day in a unique way by holding a seminar with the ladies of KKT Kivule Church in Dar es Salaam. The seminar covered general life skills, including recognizing the worth of being a girl, self-love, self-awareness, relationships and the proper ways of adopting to the rapid change of science and technology.
